Based on Ellis Peter's CADFAEL series of novels, this popular television series (which airs as part of PBS' MYSTERY! lineup in the US) stars Derek Jacobi as the eponymous clergyman. It follows Cadfael, a monk who, in his youth, was a crusader, sailor, and adventurer, but who has now settled down at Shrewsbury Abbey as its resident gardener, botanist, and herbalist. However, from time to time, there are mysteries to be solved around the Abbey, forcing Cadfael to put his startling sleuthing skills into use. TAXI: Jimmy Fallon gets his first starring role with TAXI, an action-packed comedy that finds the former Saturday Night Live showman teaming up with Oscar-nominated rapper-turned-actress Queen Latifah (CHICAGO). Fallon is Washburn, a truly pathetic New York City cop who can`t seem to wake up in the morning without bumbling busts and breaking whatever he touches. Produced by Luc Besson, who wrote the 1998 film upon which Tim Story`s film is based, TAXI is an engaging romp that features likeable performances from its lead actors, as well as hilarious supporting turns from Ann-Margret and Adrian Martinez.SPEED: A mad bomber (Dennis Hopper) with is out for revenge against rookie cop Jack Traven (Keanu Reeves, CONSTANTINE, THE MATRIX), who, with the help of his partner on the LAPD Harry Temple (Jeff Daniels, IMAGINARY HEROES), foiled the criminals plot to extort money from the city by holding an elevator-full of people hostage. He plants a bomb on a bus which is set to arm itself when the vehicle hits 50 mph, and detonate if it drops below that speed.
