GODZILLA TOKYO SOS: Mechagodzilla, the robot version of Godzilla, lies in a state of disrepair after battling the world's monsters. Though armed with the best technology and strongest weapons available, he still took a beating, and scientists are scrambling to rebuild him despite the dire warnings from a pair of psychic fairies. Their prophesy comes true, however, as the Earth is shaken by mysterious events and Godzilla awakes. The egg hatches into a young monster that Godzilla takes under his wing, training it in the ways of proper monsterhood while battling the giant insects. Akira Kubo stars as an intrepid journalist who comes to the island in search of a story.
