A marine biologist (Crenna) is commissioned by the U.S. Navy to investigate a mysterious rash of attacks on military sea vessels. He recruits a crew--including his daughter Sophie (Cox)--and soon discovers the evil Captain Nemo (Cross) has been attacking the vessels from his submarine The Nautilus. A high seas battle lands the crew imprisoned aboard Nemo's submarine. In order to escape, the crew must face man-eating sharks and colossal sea beasts.
