An evil empire known as Negation abducts 100 strangers from all corners of the galaxy and holds them prisoners in a dark and forbidding alternate dimension. The diverse group of hostages--superheroes from CrossGen`s popular comic books--discover that Negation, led by Emperor Charon, is experimenting with their extraordinary powers.
