Director Stacey Case simultaneously parodies and pays homage to both professional wrestling and low-budget horror flicks with his tongue-in-cheek splatterfest ENTER ZOMBIE KING (aka ZOMBIE BEACH PARTY). Set against the world of lucha libre--a form of Mexican wrestling characterized by face masks and acrobatics--ENTER ZOMBIE KING features a cast of actual wrestlers that includes Jason Bareford, Nick Cyjetkovich, and Rob El Fuego Etcheverria (who also choreographed the film's over-the-top action sequences). Jules Delorme stars as masked hero Ulysses, who leads his fellow fighters Mr. X (Sean K. Robb), the Blue Saint (Raymond Carle), and Mercedes (Angela Clarke) in a mythic showdown with a legion of zombies bent on world domination.
