Patty Duke turns in a powerful, memorable performance in this dramatic made-for-TV movie, loosely based on a true story. She plays Mary Brown, a woman struggling for justice after the murder of her soldier son (Jason London). Convinced that his manipulative new wife, Dusty (Alexandra Powers), is responsible for his death, she and her husband (Martin Sheen) go on a lonely crusade to find proof and win custody of their granddaughter.
