The Secret Service – The Complete Series (DVD)

During the 1960s, British television producer Gerry Anderson (Thunderbirds, Space: 1999) created a series of programs utilizing Supermarionation, an unconventional style that blended puppetry with live action. 1969's The Secret Service was Anderson's final supermarionation series before he turned exclusively to the live-action format. Legendary British comic and vocal master Stanley Unwin stars as the voice of Father Unwin, a seemingly-typical parish priest who owns a unique machine that shrinks people down to a fraction of their size. When the British government learns of the device, they recruit Father Unwin for the Secret Service, pairing him up with agent Matthew Harding (Gary Files) for a series of dangerous missions. This 2-disc collection includes all 13 episodes of the rarely-seen series, which Anderson regards as his personal favorite.DVD Features:Region [unknown]Keep Case2-Disc SetFull Frame - 1.33Audio: Dolby Digital Stereo - EnglishAdditional Release Material: Audio Commentary - 1.
